Celebrating International Women's Day at our community meal last Friday was an absolute blast! From delicious samosas and a spread of international cuisine to vibrant songs and inspiring artwork, it was a day filled with joy and empowerment.
The results of several different workshops were presented to all in attendance. Under the guidance of Christina Kyriakidou, a lovely painting was produced -- now proudly displayed in our offices. Geetha de Silva and our sewing class also crafted a beautiful blanket adorned with the message "welcome" written in over 20 languages.
The GSA Community Engagement team hosted an engaging collage workshop, adding another layer of creativity to the festivities. And let's not forget the sight of women donning traditional attire from all corners of the globe – a true celebration of diversity and unity!
