On October 20th at CWIN's Community Meal, we came together to honour Africa's rich cultural heritage and the invaluable contributions of the black community. The day was filled with poetry by Elebe Enwegbara, music by Suleman Chebe, and speeches by community activists.
And let's not forget the delicious spread of African delights - from aromatic Jollof rice to sweet plantains - and we even featured Jamaican-style sorrel drink! This memorable event was funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, made possible by National Lottery players.
Join us again today at 12 pm for our community meal. It's another chance to socialize and savour a delicious, hot meal!
