Jenny, our new Community Activator, will be holding the first Food and Climate cafe in Garnethill on 25th August. All are welcome and supper will be provided.
In the year in which UN delegates are gathering from around the world to discuss progress made on their climate commitments and C02 reduction targets, there is a spotlight being shone on Glasgow. This informal event is a chance to find out more about the issues that matter, and discuss what a sustainable food system in Glasgow could look like.
A community garden on every corner? Streets being turned into food forests? How can we provide fair, fresh food for all?
It's important that the views of New Scots and of those in the asylum system are represented in these discussions.
