'A Thread is a Journey' Exhibition for Refugee Week Scotland

9th June 2021

Central and West Integration Network (CWIN) and The Glasgow School of Art have partnered on a 10-week creative project exploring textiles, fabric and patterns. Working with designer Christopher McEvoy, the group has learned skills in creating different textiles, printing, weaving and embroidery.

Inspired by each others cultures, they have developed their own fabric designs. All the sessions have been held remotely over Zoom which has brought both interesting challenges and fun experiences. Join us in person at our outdoor exhibition at Garnethill Multicultural Centre to see the final artworks that have been created including a co-designed printed CWIN cloth.

You do not need to register for this event.

The location of this event is:

Garnethill Multicultural Centre, 21 Rose Street, Glasgow, G3 6RE
