Food by the ton going to people who need it

This week CWIN staff and volunteers processed 984 kilos (just under one ton) of donated food. 63 food parcels were distributed direct to people in their homes. Less than 10 parcels were handed out at the Centre, by prior arrangement only. Some surplus food was passed on to other charities. Read more
CWIN response to Covid-19

In response to the current crisis we have suspended our community meal and all other face to face group activities. However many of our staff and volunteers are still working to support people who are affected both by the lockdown and by difficulties arising from their migration status. Read more

Community research launched

At a special event recently, CWIN and Community Food and Health Scotland launched the community-led research exploring the experiences of ethnic minority communities around food security, diet and obesity (available here).
