Summer Sessions get under way

3rd August 2017

Thank you everyone who has made the Summer Sessions amazing!

The Summer Sessions are now over for this year, but the Youth Club will return in September with a homework club, cooking classes, and drama!

And we got a brief but hilarious introduction to film by Nikoloz!

After taking up the whole bus on the way to the park, we split into smaller groups to play Protect the Egg. How would you prevent an egg from breaking when dropped from high up?

For some of our participants, it was their very first experience of baking. Judging from the beautiful (and tasty!) cinnamon buns, no one would have guessed.

With the photographers Iman and Jonas we learnt about cameras, took portraits of each other, and broke open a camera to look inside!

Thank you Penny from The Glasgow Jam for coming along and sharing the joy of music and dance!

Tired and happy, we went on to celebrate the 12th birthday of one of our participants. Happy Birthday!

Launch & Treasure Hunt (30 June)

The launch of the Summer Sessions!

After introductions and an ice breaker, we set off to Garnethill Park for a treasure hunt.

Treasure hunt 3

We learnt that whilst the human knot may be an easy game to play with three people, it is much more challenging (and more fun!) in a big group.
