21st February 2025 - Food Hub
On January 13, representatives from Solasta Riverside paid our Food Hub a visit to drop-off some very generous donations. This is the second time they have reached out to us to offer support, gathering donations of food and toiletry items amongst residents and staff members during the New Year.
Arranged by Joanna McDonald and Lucy Newton, this wonderful donation was distributed primarily to individuals and families living in hotels, where cooking is restricted and dietary options are extremely limited. Contributions like these are incredibly impactful, promoting dignity in food choices to those facing temporary accommodation.
If you'd also like to arrange donations to our Food Hub, please contact us on info@cwin.org.uk. These are some of the items our community members could really benefit from: onions, cereal, biscuits, pulses, dried fruits, nuts (packaged), tinned fish, cooking oil, toilet paper, sanitary products and soaps, shampoos and conditioners.
