Celebrating our Courage was the theme of our Refugee Week party last Friday.
The party featured an exhibition by our art group, a performance by our ukulele group, Ukrainian dances and songs organised by our community leader and musician Svitlana and an interactive performance by our friends Partick Circle Dance. Our chefs prepared a delicious spread which was topped up pot lock style by members of our community who brought dishes to try.
So, yes, we did celebrate our courage, but we also celebrated our talent and it was an afternoon full of joy.
