Join us for a Seedy Social event!

13th March 2024

Get ready to dive into the world of unique seeds and sustainable gardening practices with Jenny MacGillivray from GCFN and the Glasgow Seed Library!

This coming Saturday, March 16th, at 1pm, you can explore a diverse range of vegetable, herb, and flower seeds that you can borrow and experiment with in your garden.

Jenny will talk about the Glasgow Food Policy Partnership's 'Full of Beans' campaign. She will give out bean growing starter packs for your own garden, and information on seed saving.

This will be a family event at the Hidden Gardens and children are welcome. There will be children activities like a seedy scavenger hunt!

The address is 25a Albert Drive, G41 2PE.

We can cover travel expenses for refugee or asylum seekers that wish to attend. There will also be teas and sweet treats available.

Seedy Socials aren't just about gardening – they're about community, and an opportunity to connect with fellow local growers and aspiring seed savers.

Hope to see you there!
