On Thursday 26 June, our ESOL Literacy and Beginner learners that study at the Adelaide Place stepped out of the classroom and into the Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA)!
We explored two exhibitions, took part in creative activities, and learned how to sign up for Glasgow’s library services — with everyone heading home with a library card.
One of our students, Violeta, even drew a nice portrait of her teacher during the session!
This outing was part of our ongoing ESOL work in partnership with ESOL Scotland and Adelaide Place, and supported by the National Lottery Community Fund -- made possible by National Lottery Players -- and the Glasgow Communities Fund through GCC and GCVS.
Classes are now on summer break — we’ll be back in mid-August and can’t wait to welcome new and familiar faces!
