10th July 2025 - Knitting Class
Our Knitting Group has been working hard to make 12 blankets and 18 tiny hats for premature babies.
Here we are handing them over to the Neonatal Unit at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Govan on Friday, July 4th.
Staff were delighted to receive them. They said: "blankets are always amazing". It's great for the members of our group to be involved in making lovely soft things out of wool for other people. It increases their sense of purpose, fills them with pride and lets them forget for a short wile about their own hardship. It's also very relaxing!
