Training course where women in the asylum system can learn new skills: growing fruit and vegetables, producing eggs, honey, running a small food business.   Read more

» Townhead Women’s Group

CWIN's women's group used to meet at Townhead Village Hall to share information on healthy life styles and ways to feed babies. This group currently meets on Zoom but we hope to resume meeting in person soon.   Read more

» Women's Food and Climate Cooking Group

Open to asylum seekers/refugees and BAME women to share recipes and and meet new friends. Women can learn cooking from different cultures and learn about environmental impact of food.   Read more

» Women's sewing group

A group where women can learn sewing and printing skills, currently working on a project to make personalized tote bags to be used in the food hub.   Read more

» Activist Art Workshop

A series of workshops run by our placement student Christina Kyriakidou on activist art and how to communicate powerful ideas through art. The group is working towards an exhibition during the refugee festival.   Read more

» CWIN walks

A series of walks organised by Iman Tajik (Artist and Photographer) and Nima Khorshidi to different scenic locations in the surroundings of Glasgow.   Read more

» Holiday Activity Programme

A series of activities from art and crafts, to sports, to singing, cake decorating etc, open to children aged between 8 and 18 years old. This programme is only running during the school holidays. Children must be registered with CWIN before joining the activities.   Read more
